hello ms. anneliesern,
i was googling about infection control and found this site. just glad to find this wonderful site. I got most of the answers right on those 5Qs, except for Q#1
1. You are on the Pediatric Unit of your hospital. As the nurse manager, you have 4 admissions to your unit all under the age of five years of age. You are running out of private rooms. Which pts can room together?
A. A 3 year old male with scabies and a 3 year old girl with scabies. They both have the same bacterial microorganism. B. A 6 month old with scabies and a 6 month old with impetigo. C. A 5 year old with RSV and a history of pneumonia and a 5 year old with RSV and a history of influenza D. None of the above
you gave "B" as the answer for this one. i chose "A" because both pts have the same microorganisms and with no other infection.
could you please enlighten me on this one? thanks. appreciate your reply.
